Courtesy Call with UNICEF PH
The Courtesy Call with UNICEF Philippines on February 6, 2025, brought together various organizations affiliated with UNICEF PH for a collaborative exchange of ideas and advocacy efforts. The meeting provided an opportunity for each organization to introduce their initiatives, share best practices, and discuss their contributions to children's rights and welfare. Participants also attended informative lectures on child abuse, deepening their understanding of the issues affecting vulnerable children and the measures needed to address them. Additionally, UNICEF PH introduced U-Report, a digital platform designed to amplify youth voices on social issues. This courtesy call fostered stronger partnerships and reinforced the shared commitment to advocating for and protecting the rights of children in the Philippines.

UST UVU at Kyference
On February 15, 2025, UST Volunteers for UNICEF proudly participated in Kyference 2025: Palettes of Passion, an inspiring event organized by Kythe-Ateneo. With the theme "Forming Advocacies and Advocates, One Stroke of Passion at a Time," the event was a vibrant celebration of purpose, creativity, and collective action. UVU set up a booth where volunteers engaged with like-minded individuals, exchanged ideas, and strengthened their commitment to making a difference. Through meaningful conversations and shared experiences, the event fostered connections among advocates dedicated to transforming passion into impactful initiatives. It was a day of inspiration, collaboration, and reaffirmation of UVU’s mission to champion children's rights.

Crush Landing on UVU
"Crush Landing on UVU" is a Valentine’s Day event organized by the Internal Public Relations Committee for UST Volunteers for UNICEF members. Held on February 16, 2025, at the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center, the event aimed to create camaraderie amongst volunteers while celebrating the season of love with UVU. Attendees enjoyed a variety of interactive activities, team-building games and heartfelt moments that encouraged friendships and deeper connections within the organization. Through this event, volunteers not only celebrated love in all its forms but also strengthened their sense of belonging and commitment to their advocacy.

MAGSALIKIDS
MagsaliKids: The Foundation of Love – Children’s Right to a Family and a Safe Home was released on February 18, 2025, as part of UST Volunteers for UNICEF’s ongoing advocacy for children's rights. This edition focused on the importance of providing every child with a loving family and a safe, nurturing home—key elements in their emotional and social development. Through thought-provoking discussions and insightful articles, the event emphasized the role of families, communities, and policymakers in ensuring that no child experiences neglect or homelessness. By raising awareness and fostering meaningful conversations, MagsaliKids encouraged volunteers and supporters to take action in promoting child welfare, reinforcing the idea that love, stability, and security should be fundamental rights rather than privileges.

PodKIDS
UST Volunteers for UNICEF proudly launched the highly anticipated Season 4 of The PodKIDS Series, bringing fresh discussions and inspiring conversations centered on children’s rights and education. The first episode, released on February 24, 2025, kicked off with an engaging deep dive into Special and Inclusive Education, exploring its significance, impact on young minds, and the innovative ways educators tailor lesson plans for children with special needs. Hosted by Mx. Micahbelle Syjuco and Mx. Amaya C. Bueno, the episode featured guest speaker Mx. Ana Paula Cerapion, who shared invaluable insights into advocacy and inclusivity in learning. As part of UVU’s commitment, this season promises thought-provoking discussions aimed at raising awareness and sparking action.
